Our treatment against rosacea

What is Rosacea? Rosacea is characterized by small red blood vessels on the cheeks, nose and chin and is a very mild form of dilation of the veins. It may be a sign of acne rosacea, an equally mild disease, which is often accompanied by acne lesions (papules and pustules).

Rosacea responds well to sclerosing treatments (see Varicose Veins). Dr. Hébert also often recommends treating Rosacea with IPL treatments. Using light beams, it destroys the unsightly blood vessels in a few sessions.

Photorejuvenation with BBL™ technology

IPL Intense Pulse Light technology has been available for many years now and it is still one of the best approaches to treating aging skin. BBL™ is an innovative technology using the power of pulsed light to deliver excellent results in photorejuvenation therapy for a more youthful appearance of the skin.

It helps reducing brown spots, lentigines, superficial scars, vascular lesions (port wine stains, hemangiomas, rosacea, and telangectasias), dilated pores and small imperfections in order to restore the natural complexion of the skin.

This painless technology is risk free. Treatments last just a few minutes, leaving only a little diffuse and temporary redness. For best results, we recommend three to five treatments, a few weeks apart.
